Although categories have been established for the shops, there is often overlap among the types of items that are featured.  Links to the online stores have been provided to show the types of products that are carried; however, you may want to call ahead to see if particular items are carried in the physical location or if they are just online.

Water Tower Place

Upscale, multi-level center across from the historic Water Tower has more than 100 stores that provide a variety of shopping choices including apparel, accessories, toys, jewelry, sporting goods (some of the stores are listed below)

Navy Pier

A beautiful setting by the lake with activities to do while you browse among shops featuring a variety of merchandise, such as Chicago souvenirs, gifts and clothing from various countries, snacks, and toys (there is no admission to the Smith Museum of Stained Glass Windows as you walk the pier while enjoying the shops)

State Street and surrounding streets in “theLoop” – Downtown shopping area, including Macy’s and Sears department stores
